RAILWAYS INQUIRY

TIME LIMIT FOR REPORT EXTENDED ADDITIONAL MONTH GIVEN THE SEX’S Parliamentary Reporter PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Today. The time within which the Royal Commission inquiring into the railways has to present its report to the Governor-General has been extended by one month, although this does not necessarily mean that the commission will take up the whole of that time in preparing its report. It is considered likely that the report will be made before the end of the session. Originally it was intended that the commission should report by the beginning of September. Now the report has to be presented by the beginning of October.
