BEAUTIFYING UGLY CORNER.— When the Great South Road was concreted, the corner seen in the centre of this picture was cut off, and the con Crete was swept round in an easy curve. The Great South Road Beautifying Society has begun to clear this corner and a number of ornamental trees will be planted.
