Part of a fine line of 2,000 two-tooth wethers shorn at Messrs. R. and W. Hellaby’s Westfield works this week. This makes the first reported draft of sheep to be shorn in the Auckland district this season. These sheep will be topped off on Messrs. Hellaby’s fattening farm, and should make first-class mutton, killing much better than sheep in the wool.
