WAIUKU WEDDING

ATTENDANTS WEAR SOFT SHADES OF PINK NAYLOR—WEST A wedding of considerable local interest was celebrated at the Methodist Church. Waiuku, on Wednesday, when Dorothy Isobel, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. West, of “Stonehurst.” Waiuku, was married to Reginald Seymour, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Naylor, of “Harrisville.” Tuakau.

The ceremony was peiTormed by the Rev. AW kS. Neal, and Mrs. A. Vaughan played the wedding music. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was gowned in an ankle-length frock uf ivory georgette worn over satin, with long tightfitting sleeves and bodice finished at the waist with a diamente tassel. The flounced skirt dipped to the ankles at the back, and her veil of Spanish net, beautifully embroidered in gold and silver, was held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of white stocks and daffodils. Little Joan Denize, niece of the. bride, was train-bearer, wearing an early Victorian frock of shell pink crepe do chine with tulle and silver frills, and tulle cap finished with rosebuds. Her posy was of pink sweet peas.
