manukau yacht AND MOTOR-BOAT CLUB HOLDS ANNUAL FUNCTION
ENJOYABLE EVENING
The Manukau Yacht and Motor Boat Club held its annual ladies* night this week in the Clubhouse, Wharf Road, Onehunga.
Variety was added by the drawing of the art union promoted by the club and by the presentation of prizes to the successful women members of tho club. Excellent dance music was provided by the Snappy Six Orchestra. Among those present were: Mrs. W. Rawlinson, in nile green crepe de chine; Mrs. V. Knock, powder blue chenille; Miss Leaning, green taffeta; Miss q Cox. apricot taffeta: Miss Moors, powder blue georgette; Miss Burke, flame moire taffeta. Miss E. Smith, who wore green crepe de chine; Miss M. Hamblyn, blue georgette: Miss O. Dick, black satin beaute; Miss Lorna Wright, buttercup georgette: Miss Ivy Picknell, jade green georegtte; Miss M. Tyne, powder blue taffeta: Miss E Whiteombe (Wanganui), green panne velvet and satin; Miss P. Bray, pink laffeta and tulle: Miss V. Green, anklelength pink taffeta and tulle; Miss P. Green, blue georgette; Miss M. Bartley, lemon georgette with gold metal shawl; Miss M. Coates, flame and silver lace; Miss McAllister, gold satin and chenille jacket; Miss D.
