BRIDGE AFTERNOON AT VICTORIA LEAGUE

FUNDS FOR JASPER CALDER The Victoria League EverReady Committee held a most successful bridge party in the league rooms on Thursday afternoon in aid of the Rev. Jasper Caider’s funds. The rooms were beautifully decorated with daffodils and Iceland poppies. Tho hostesses were Airs. John Reid, Airs. Carr-Smith, Aliss Calder and Miss Sliutes. Prizes, donated by Airs. J. Reid, Mrs. Wyber and Airs. Abbott, were won. by Mrs. Tracy Nelson, Airs. Whitley and Miss Sommerville. Among those present were:—Aliss Alowbray, Airs. J. B. Alacfarlane, Airs. L. S.
