FUNDS FOR SCHOOL SPORTS GROUNDS

A most successful and attractive programme by the pupils’ of Mrs. B. Mayall, of Lenby Lane, Northcote. was presented in the Palais Theatre, Northcote, on Thursday evening. There was a large attendance of residents, the object being to raise funds for the equipment of the Junior High School sports ground. At the conclusion of the children’s recital, Mr. W. J. Wernham, principal, briefly thanked those present for their support and presented Mrs. Mayall and the leading performers with bouquets.
