DICTATORSHIP FALLS
PERU UNDER CONTROL OF NEW REGIME MILITARY GOVERNMENT Reed. 9.5 a.m. LIMA (Peru), Thursday A new military Government, headed by Lieutenant-Colonel Luis Cerro, who initiated the revolutionary movement a week ago, assumed complete control today, displacing the 11-year dictatorship. The new Administration deposed President Augusto Leguia and the junta of General Manuel Ponce, which on Monday forced the President's resignation.
