ROCKY NOOK BOWLERS
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION The Rocky Nook Bowling Club held its annual prize distribution, which took Ihe form of a concert, in the club pavilion on Tuesday. There was a good muster of bowlers and their friends, and a most enjoyable evening was spent. The president, Mr. W. T. Tongue, congratulated the winners:—Mr. W. It. Keatley, singles champion; Messrs. E. Sidler and It. J. Laing, club pairs; Messrs. W. Leather, M. Miller, H. Turner and W. T. Alder, club lours; Mr. G. F. Milner, president’s handicap singles; Mr. Enos Chambers, handicap singles, Dennison Cup. The following contributed to the programme: Mesdames Alexander, Black, Leather, Sadler, Winter and Matthews; Messrs. Barton and Leather, and the Rocky Nook Quartet, Messrs. Lb A. Kayes. J. Kayes, W. Leather and Rutledge. Tho president welcomed the new members present, and eulogised the work of the green superintendent and green-keeper. The green had never, during his connection with the club, looked so well, and an increased membership was anticipated.
