V RAILWAY PORTER CRUSHED Injuries to his legs were received during shunting operations by a ported at the Wiri station yesterday morning. After medical treatment, the injured man, Mr. Roy Greig. was conveyed to his home in Wiri. A ballast train was being shunted, and Mr. GreigT was crossing the line between two wagons when he was caught between the buffers. His right leg was severely crushed. His condition is not serious.
