ROXY
FINE BRITISH TALKIES A grim drama of hate and revenge is worked out in the setting of a palatial steam yacht in “The Hate Ship” (British International picture), the main attraction at the Roxy Theatre. “The Hate Ship” ife said to have all the attributes of a great picture—strong dramatic plot, plenty of laughs to relieve the severer features of the story, and a brilliant cast of players. Jameson Thomas and Jean Colin are in the leading roles. Vernon Wolfe is the owner of the steam yacht Livoniat. for which subsequent events earn the name “hate ship.” “Harmony Heaven.” the second big attraction on the same programme, is another British picture. It is an allcolour show, and may also be called an all-singing and dancing production. Polly Ward, of the London vaudeville stage, heads the cast.
