ALEXANDRA, GREEN LANE
Two most entertaining talkies are being shown on the same programme at the Alexandra Theatre. The first is “Lovin’ the Ladies,” a comedy-drama in which Dix. as a plumber, tries to become a social star. The second attraction is “The Loves of Robert Burns,” in which Joseph Hislop, the famous tenor, has the leading role and is heard singing some fine old Scottish songs.
