DOUBLE FEATURE BILL Two splendid talking pictures will be shown at the Orpheus Theatre, Otahuhu, this evening and tomorrowevening. They are "High Voltage” and “Show Folks," a drama and a backstage story, but both intensely Interesting. Good supports are being shown. SUBURBAN THEATRES (FULLERHAYWARD) The Prince Edward Theatre is showing “Courting Wild Cat,” a fast-mov-ing Western type of story with a charming, romantic thread and starring Hoot Gibson; also “Song of Love,” a story of stage life introducing the American vaudeville singer, Belle Baker. The Tudor Theatre, Remuera, is showing “Rookery Nook,” the brilliant British farce comedy of embarrassing mix-ups, based on the famous play by Ben Travers. This talking film was made in England by the original Aldwych Theatre cast. The Victoria Theatre, Devonport, is showing “Why Leave Home,” an hilarious musical comedy based on the well-known comedy, “Cradle Snatchers,” and “The Swellhead,” starring Johnny Hines as an overpushful American salesman. The Grey Lynn Cinema is showing “The American Prisoner,” from Eden Philpotts’s novel of the Napoleonic wars, starring Carl Brison, and “The Wild Party,” a comedy starring Clara Bow. LECTURES ON TOWN PLANNING A course of three lectures in town planning will be given in the University Hall during September by Professors Belshaw and Knight. On Monday evening next Professor Belshaw will speak on some economic aspects of town planning and on the two following evenings Professor Knight, professor of architecture, will be the speaker. Admission to all lectures will be free.
