WAIPAWA SEAT
REFORM NOMINATES ITS CANDIDATE MR. W. TUCKER, OF CLIVE THE SUN'S Parliamentary Reporter PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Thursday. The official Reform candidate for the Waipawa seat, held by the late Sir George Hunter, is Mr. W. Tucker, a wool merchant of Clive, a township between Napier and Hastings. Mr. Tucker has lived in Clive ail his life and lias taken a prominent part in local affairs, having been a member of the Hawke's Bay County Council for the past eight or nine years. A telegram of congratulations and confirmation was sent by the Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. J. G. Coates, this evening.
