14 DAYS FOR GROCER Admitted to probation on October 29, 1929, ou a charge of theft, Hope George Shalloon, ot Opotiki, failed to report to the probation officer, though he made restitution of the amount ot money Involved. For his forgetfulness he was sent to prison for 14 days. Shalfoon, a grocer, aged 23, pleaded guilty before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court today, when charged with failing to comply with the terms and conditions of his probation. “He has not. reported since he made restitution,” said Mr. W. J. Campbell, probation officer. “We have had trouble with a number of men who will not report.” Mr. Hunt: Fourteen days.
