TARIFF DILEMMA
CANADIAN ACTION PROBABLE AT SEPTEMBER SESSION THREE COURSES OPEN Reed. 9.5 a.m. OTTAWA, Thursday. Political gossip in connection with the tariff says that action is probable at the September session of Parliament, with one or three courses ap pearing likely in the brief period available. These courses are a measure in the nature of a flat tariff, an increase in the provision for an advance in the tariff on certain specified imports, or a Bill increasing the duty generally, except on certain stipulated commodities.
