CAR CRASHES INTO POLE
INTOXICATED DRIVER FINED Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. William McLean, aged 50, a married man. a commercial traveller, of Wellington, was lined £lO and had his licence cancell»?d by Mr. E. L. Mosley. S.M., this morning on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car in Cathedral Square.
The police said the car crashed into an electric-light pole.
