“THE GIRL FROM HAVANA” From Los Angeles to Havana via the Panama Canal, the swift-moving action of “The Girl from Havana” sweeps.
carrying with it all the sound and dialogue of a gripping detective story, recorded by Fox Movietone in both colourful cities, on a liner at sea, and passing through the Canal locks. Lola Lane and Paul Page, featured players of “Speakeasy,” are once again seen together in “The Girl From Havana,” which is now at the Lyric Theatre. “Behind the Make Up” the second feature is a striking tale of back-stage life starring Hal Skelly as a clown, and Fay "VVray and Kay Francis as his proteges.
