GRAND SPIRIT’S FORM BETTER OVER MIDDLE DISTANCE? The three-year-old Grand Spirit has taken no harmtul effects from her outing in the sprint at Kilerslie on Satin--duy last (in which she shaped very well indeed), and she docs her tusk< nicely olj a morning. The filly has been kept going throughout the winter and thus is very forward lor early engagements. Gland Spirit invariably prejudices her prospects through her inability to get away on terms with the rest of ner held, and this is detrimental over short courses. However, possibly her connections will essay middle distances during the season and then a different tale may be unfolded.
