“SPINSTERS’” DANCE

ENJOYABLE FUNCTION AT ARARIMU The spinsters of Ararimu held their annual ball on Friday evening, the function being largely attended. The hall was decorated with spring flowers and streamers of orange axid blue. Music was played by Postlewaite’s Orchestra.

Miss Gallagher, wearing black and silk moire; Miss Robertson, powder blue ci'epe de chine; Miss Celia Fox, nile green crepe de chine; Miss A. Johnston, parchmen t georgette and lace; Miss A. Burgess, blue floral georgette; Miss Bowman, orange chenille georgette; Miss M. Johnston, mauve shaded lace; Miss Nobbs, pale pink satin; Miss Gareby, apple green georgette; Miss Gannon, geranium red georgette with gold lace relief; Miss K.
