COMMUNITY SING

The Town Hall was packed this afternoon, when the most successful community sing of the season was held. There were 3,000 people present. “Uncle Tom” was again song-leader. His success may be judged by the enthusiasm of the singers: “Cinderella,” of IYA, was also on the platform, as were Mr. A. Don, apd Mrs. Barrington Snow, who played the piano. Following are some of the numbers sung: “There’s a Long, Long Trail,” “Just a Song at Twilight,” “The More We are Together,” “Down in the Cornfields,” “Home, Sweet Home,” “All the World am Sad and Weary,” “When Johnny Comes Marching,” “Inkey Pinkey Parlez-vous ?” “Silver Threads,” “Old Black Joe,” “Annie Laurie,” “Sweet Adeline,” “Old Rustic Bridge,” I “Pack V» Your Troubles.”
