LADY SIDEY IS GUEST OF HONOUR AT INFORMAL TEA
ENJOYABLE PARTY AT LYCEUM CLUB Mrs. E. H. B. Milsom was hostess yesterday at an informal tea party given at the Lyceum Club for Lady Sidey, who has been spending a few days in Auckland before leaving with her husband. Sir Thomas Sidey, for England. Spring flowers and foliage made the lounge very attractive, and the guests spent a very happy time. Mrs. Milsom was gowned in cedar rose georgette, with large hat to tone, and Lady Sidey wore a claret-coloured ensemble trimmed with mole fur, and wore a velour hat to tone. AMONG THE GUESTS. Lady Stringer was gowned in dark red, with a coatee and a red hat to match. Lady Mitchelson wore a black ensemble, with furs and a black hat. Lady Ilerdman had on a black tailored suit, with a wide-brimmed black hat. Mrs. Roy Wilson chose n navy blue • mbroldered frock, 'with a lur coat and a navy blue hat. Miss Mowbray had chosen a black ensemble, with a fur wrap, and a black hat trimmed with ospreys. Mrs. S. A. Stride was gowned in a beech brown ensemble, trimmed with fur, and a hat in brown shades. Mrs. Coleman’s frock was of navy blue crepe fieuri, with a navy hat to tone. Mrs. If. E. Vaile wore a black tailored suit, with a parchment vestee and a black hat. Mrs. J. B. Macfarlane had on a fawn check suit and a hat to tone. Mrs. Alan Brown chose a black tailored suit and a black hat. Mrs. E. B. Gunson wore a fur coat over a figured frock, and a green felt. hat. Airs. C. E. Maguire had chosen a grey ensemble, with a close-fitting hat to match. Mrs. Fltchett was gowned in grey, with a grey hat relieved with touches of mauve. Airs. Willis wore a floral frock, and a hat in contrasting colour. Airs. J. Alexander chose a gown of floral patterned ring velvet, under a black fur coat, and a wide-brimmed black hat.
