HI KURANGI FOR NORFOLK.—The steamer Hikurangi is to sail for Norfolk Island at 3 p.m. on Thursday. She is to berth tomorrow to load cargo under the agency of Spedding, Ltd.

THE ARLINGTON COURT.—The steamer Arlington Court, having taken in bunkers at Suva, left there p.m. on Sunday for Auckland to discharge her cargo of phosphates from Ocean Island. She is expected to arrive about Saturdaj-.

THE TANKER SILDRA.—The tanker Sildra is reported to have cleared Singapore on August 14 w’ith a cargo of bulk oil for discharge at Auckland and other New’ Zealand ports. The vessel is under charter to the Shell Company. She is expected at Auckland about September

THE R.M.S. NIAGARA.—The Union Company has received advice that the Royal Mail liner Niagara cleared Vancouver at nbon last Wednesday for Honolulu, Suva, Auckland and Sydney. The vessel is due at Auckland on September 8 and she is to be dispatched for Sydney at 10 o’clock the following night.

THE CARRISO. —Further advice received regarding the American motorship Carriso states that the vessel sailed from San Francisco on August 9 and from Anacortes on August 18 for Apia and New' Zealand. The vessel has a large quantity of fruit box shooks for discharge at Auckland, Napier and Nelson. Russell and Somers, Limited, is the local agent.

SOMERSET DUE FRIDAY.—With general cargo from West Coast United Kingdom ports, the Federal steamer Somerset is due here early pn Friday morning from Liverpool, acording to her wireless advice. She will berth at Queen’s Wharf to discharge the local portion of her cargo to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company.

ARMADALE REPORTS. —The New* Zealand Shipping Company has received a wireless message from the steamer Armadale, which left Suva p.m. on Saturday for Auckland in continuation of her voyage from New York, stating that she expects to arrive in the stream here at noon on Thursday. She has a cargo of general merchandise.

PARRAKOOLA LEFT SAN FRANCISCO.—Spedding, Limited, has received advice that the Swedish motor-ship Parrakoola was dispatched from San Francisco last Saturday for Auckland, via Niue Island. The vessel has cargo from Los Angeles and San Francisco for discharge at Auckland. Wellington. Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. She is due at Auckland on September 30.

REMUERA’S MOVEMENTS.—The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera arrived at Port Chalmers on Saturday morning from New Plymouth for further loading. She is to leave again today for Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington to fill up. The vessel is due at Wellington on August 30, and is scheduled to clear that port on September 2 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal.

GOLDEN CROSS RADIOS. —A radio message received by Henderson and Macfarlane. Ltd., from the O. and O. steamer Golden Cross states that she expects to reach Auckland from Los Angeles on Thursday morning. The vessel has a cargo of lumber, case oil and general merchandise from the Pacific Coast for discharge at Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Levuka. She has been allotted a berth at Central Wharf.

lONIC ARRIVES.—The White Star liner lonic arrived in port this morning from London and Southampton, via the Panama Canal. After the granting of pratique she berthed at Prince’s Wharf to land passengers and mails for New Zealand, and the local part of her cargo of general merchandise. Her local agent is L. D. Nathan, Ltd., wTiich firm expects to dispatch her again about Friday for Wellington to complete discharge. A list of her passengers appears on another page. '

THE PORT WAIKATO.—The intercolonial motor-ship Port Waikato is exp *:d to reach Tauranga from NewLr..e today. She has a full cargo of 1 olos for discharge at Tauranga and Gisborne. • MAKURA FOR SYDNEY.—Tn completion of her voyage from San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga, the Royal Haile liner Makura is to sail from Wellington at 4 o’clock this afternoon for S. dney. She is due at Sydney on Saturday morning. H.M.S. VERONICA DUE TOMORROW. —Wireless advice received by the Naval Department from H.M.S. Veronica states that she will arrive from Suva at ten o’clock tomorrow morning. The warship has been on a cruise to the South Sea Islands since the beginning of June. She will berth at Sheerlegs Wharf. CORINTHIC SAILS TOMORROW.— Now at Queen’s Wharf completing her cargo for London, the White Star liner Corinthic is to sail at 5 p.m. tomorrow, taking also passengers and mails, for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. Her local agent is A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd. THE MAUNGANUI.—The Union Company advises that its intercolonial steamer Maunganui arrived at Wellington from Sydney at 4.40 o’clock this morning. She is to leave Wellington again at S o’clock tonight for Auckland arriving here on Thursday afternoon. She is to sail from Auckland at 3 p.m. on Friday for Sydney direct. ARGYLLSHIRE SAILS’TOMORROW.— At present at Queen’s Wharf completing her loading for Great Britain, the steamer Argyllshire, owned by the New Zealand Shipping Company, is to be dispatched p.m. tomorrow for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. RANGITIKI’S MOVEMENTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the motor liner Rangitiki is to leave Bluff on Thursday for Lyttelton. Wellington, Napier, Tokomaru Bay and Auckland, to complete her Homeward loading. The Rangitiki is scheduled to clear Auckland on September 16 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. TARANAKI TO LOAD.—The .Shaw, Savili Company advises that the motorship Taranaki is to commence loadiner for London at Port Chalmers about September 11. She will subsequentlv load at Bluff. Wellington, Napier, Waikokopu, Gisborne and Auckland. The vessel is scheduled to clear Auckland on October 7 for London, via the Panama Canal. CANADIAN CRUISER.—The Canadian National Steamships advise that the steamer Canadian Cruiser is to leave Dunedin tomorrow for Wellington. She will proceed from Wellington to Gisborne on Saturday and leaves there on Tuesday, September 2. for Auckland. She will sail from Auckland on Thursdav, September 4 for New York, Boston and Montreal, via Panama. r JHE RAZMAK. —The Union Steam Ship Company advises that it has purchased the liner Razmak from the P. and O. Steam Navigation Company, in order to place her in the Sydney-New ZealandSan service, substituting the Tahiti. The Razmak is scheduled to clear Sydney on her first voyage in the service on November 27, sailing for Wellington, Rarotonga, Papeete and Sau Francisco. T .
