“DOUBLE CROSS ROADS” * “Bouble Cross Roads,” Fox Movietone all-talking emotional drama, which is at the Majestic Theatre, tells the story of a youthful crook who, on leaving prison, is determined to go straight, and is assisted in the realisaXion of his hopes by a beautiful young girl with whom he falls in love. An unusually brilliant cast, headed by Robert Ames and Lila Lee, brings it to the screen. Other principal roles aro ably enacted by Montagu Love, Ned Sparks, and George MacFarlane. Buring the school holidays the Majestic is presenting special programmes for the children both morning and afternoon. Suitable films are being shown, the programme until Wednesday being headed by “The Lone Star Ranger,” an exciting Western story based on a Zane Grey novel, and starring George O’Brien.
