COOL THIEVES

HAD SUPPER IN PARNELL RESIDENCE PAYING FOURTH VISIT Standing on two empty boxes in the backvard, thieves broke a window and made their way into tha house of Mr. James Smith, 33 Birdwood Avenue, Parnell, on Saturday night. They packed their booty in a hamper and had supper before leaving. It was the fourth visit thieves had made to the house. Mr. Smith, who is a grocer, was with his family at a picture show. On previous visits the thieves have made money was stolen, so the takings from the shop have been put in a place of safety. Before gaining an entry through the window, the thieves made an unsuccessful attempt to force the back door. A jemmy was used on tha window sash after the glass was broken and the framework was badly splintered.
