MEDAL COMPETITION The final round of the 72 holes medal competition was played by members <>f the Auckland Golf Club at Mkldlemore on Saturday under perfect conditions. The leading scores were:—T. R. Brett, 63, 15—68; V. Wells. 75. 4—71. The competition was won by Wells, whose three best net scores in the four rounds were 75, 6S and 71. making a total of 214. His effort was a particularly meritorious one. There a tie for second place between T. R.' Brett. 74. 78, GS —220, and R. B. Wilson, 73, 72. 75—220. The George Cup medal, played in conjunction with the final round of the medal competition, was won by T. R. Brett, with a net score of 68. GLENDOWIE LADIES’ CLUB Following is the draw for the third round of the C grade eclectic match to be played on Wednesday by members of the Glendowie Radies’ Golf Club:— Mrs. Meiklejohn v. Airs.
