BIRKENHEAD DANCE HAMILTON HARRIERS ENTERTAINED The Birkenhead Welcome Club held its monthly dance in the Foresters’ Lodge room, Birkenhead, on Saturday evening. Tho hall was gay with coloured decorations of pink streamers and punga prns. Members of the Hamilton Harrier Clob who had been visiting tho district were the guests of the evening. The Alerryraußers' Orchestra supplied the dance music. Among those present were: Miss Helen Taylor, in daffodil -yellow georgette; Miss Rene Taylor, daffodil crepe de chine, with flared frills and silver lame bodice; Miss AI. Massey, pink taffeta and gold lace; Aliss V. Walker, apricot taffeta, with overdress of tulle; Aliss 1. Soroniza. white embroidered sunkist satin; Aliss D. Wright, shell pink and tulle frock; Miss R. Taylor, white georgette .and gold lace; Misss E. Drummond, ankle-length frock of pink taffeta and tulle, with silver trimming; Miss D. Drummond, black chiffon and lace; Aliss O. Barker, frock of beaded green crepe de chine; Miss I*. Iligson, electric blue taffeta and tulle; Aliss X. Hall pale green and silver spotted net trimmed with pink roses; Miss N. Osborne, blue beaded georgette; Miss M Edwards, mauve crepe fleuri; Miss J \\ right, pervenche blue silk rayon; Miss H. Ross, ankle-length pink satin frock; Miss Sybil Mentzer, sea green satin and georgette; Miss Hilda Potter, waterlily green moire, with pink hip-bow; Miss Zoe Mentzer, blush pink satin, with net frilled skirt.
