WOMEN’S TENNIS TOURNEY AT FOREST HILLS Reed. 9.5 a.m. NEW YORK, Friday. At Forest Hills today Mrs. Harper defeated Baroness Levi, 6 —2, 6 —3, in the semi-finals of the women’s tennis championship. Miss Betty Nuthall defeated Miss Marjorie Morrill, 6- —8, 6 —4, 6 —2. An Australian invitation for’ an American tennis team tour was referred to the committee of international play of the United States Lavrn Tennis Association, which will make a recommendation on September 12 to the- executive committee. In the meantime available players will be canvassed to determine who can make the Australian trip.
