BRITISH BOYCOTT
INDUSTRY STAGNATING IN INDIA 100,000 OPERATIVES OUT Reed. 9.5 a.m. DELHI, Friday. By the end of August It is estimated that 100,000 cotton operatives in Bombay will be unemployed as a result o£ the Congress-organised boycott of foreign cloth. Meanwhile the Congress boycott committee offers amazing terms for the removal of the names of European firms from the Congress black list. These firms must arrange to have 75 per cent. Indian capital and two-thirds of the directorate Indian.
The firms must entirely abstain from Government and anti-Congress activities, and must bank and insure with Indian firms.
