Mr K Hadfield, of the Western Electric Company, in Canterbury, is returning from Australia by the Aorangi on Mondav. Ho is accompanied by M-s Hadfield, and will be a guest at the Grand Hotel while in Auckland. The Rev. C. B. W. Seton. vicar of Otahuhu. who recently suffered a nervous breakdown and is at present in the Auckland Hospital, will leave for England by the Rangitiki on September 16. He expects to be absent for about 12 months. Mr Paul Guinness, who came to Now Zealand under the British public schools immigration scheme, leaves Auckland shortly for America. He is a son of the late Dr. Gratton Guinness, of London, and is going to the Dallas Theological College. Texas, to study. Professor A. H. Tocker, of Canterbury College, who was the Government representative at the International Labour Conference at Geneva, is a passenger by the Niagara, which is due in Auckland on September S. I-Ie made a short tour of the United States after attending the conference. Professor J. W. Hinton, who has been in Dunedin on furlough, visiting friends and relatives, and lecturing in physics at Knox College, is to leave Auckland shortly on bis return to England.
