MADE HIM BETTER
DEFERRING to some of the many kindnesses shown him at times by the Otahuhu Trotting Club, Mr. R. L. Absolum yesterday mentioned one particular instance when he met with an accident. The committee were much concerned over the mishap, and sent two doctors and a nurse to attend to him. He wished to thank the club for such consideration, and particularly for providing such a nice nurse. (Laughter). Thanks to the choice made by the president, he was soon on the road to recovery.
