ALL-BRITISH MOTOR SHOW
VISIT OF “GOLDEN ARROW” Keen interest is being taken in tlie exhibition of motor vehicles and accessories of pLirely British manufacture which takes place next October. Aucklanders will have the opportunity of inspecting under one roof some of the finest and most popular productions of the British motor industry.
The piece-de-resistance of the show will be the exhibit containing the re-cord-breaking “Golden Arrow” the speediest car in the w rid. In every detail the “Golden Arrow” is a triumph of British design and engineering skill. At 3,000 revolutions a minute the engine develops the amazing volume of 900 horse-power. The Napier Lion engine is of almost exactly the same type as those used in the victorious Schneider Cup seaplanes. The Motor Exhibition will be fittingly housed in the large building occupied by Cadman’s Parking Station A very attractive scheme of decoration and lighting has been evolved by a prominent city architect.
