GAVE LIQUOR TO YOUTH
S.M. INFLICTS £1 FINE For supplying liquor to a youth under the age of 21, William Ryan was fined £1 and 10s costs at the Police Court today. Sub-Inspector Shanahan said that Ryan, in company with the youth and two other men, went into the sideroom of an hotel at 5.30 p.m. on July 7. Ryan procured four bottles of liquor and took them in to his friends. The youth’s brother was one of the party and should have known better.
