PUKEKOHE EAST CLUB From Our Oxen Correspondent PUKEKOHE, Thursday. The Pukekohe East Lawn Tennis Club held its annual meeting on Tuesday evening. Mr. D. Coutts presided. The balance sheet revealed a credit of £2B 7s. Officers elected were:—Patron, Mr. J. N. Massey, M.P.; president, Mr. E. A. Mahoney; vice-presidents, Messrs. S. Hamilton, D. Ingram, C. Lauer and G. Ingram; secretary, Mr. S. K. Hamilton; treasurer, Mr. K. Ingram; auditor, Mr. E. Hall; club captaii . Mr. T. Dickson; ground superintendent, Mr. K. Papesch; committee, the president, vice-presidents, secretary, treasurer, Miss C. Benjamin, Miss N. Holmes. Miss J. Ingram, Messrs. T. Dickson and K. Papesch. It was decided to affiliate with the Franklin Association. The opening day was fixed for October 4. BUCKLAND CLUB From Our Own Correspondent PUKEKOHE, Thursday. The annual meeting of the Buckland Lawn Tennis Club was held on Monday evening, Mr. S. C. Schofield presiding. The treasurer reported a credit balance of £SO 4s 4d. Officers elected were:— President, Mr. Schofield: vice-presidents, Mr. A. T. Bilkev end Miss Allan; secretary, Mr. G. Wilcox: treasurer. Miss Jet* feris: committee, Mrs. Hill. Misses Butcher, Wright. Messrs. C. Jamieson. B. King, A. Hewitt and H. Jamieson, selector, Mr. W. Bilkey; delegates to the Franklin Asociation, Messrs. GWilcox and W. Bilkey*; auditor, Mr. A. J. Melville. The opening day was fixed lor October 4.
