THIRD ANNUAL DANCE j HELD BV OTAHUHU SECTION PLEASANT EVENING A canopy of multi-coloured streamers, from which hung gay balloons, effectively decorated the Otahuhu Public Hall on Wednesday evening, when the Otahuhu section of the National Reserve Division, St. John Ambulance Brigade, held its third annual dance. Afi enjoyable programme of dance music was contributed by Miss Marjorie Seel’s orchestra. Visitors were present representing a number of neighbouring brigades. Gaiety was added to the evening with several competition dances. For the non-dancers, a progressive “500” tournament was held. The trophies for the tournament were presented by Mr. T. Clements. Among those present were: Mrs. Muller, who wore a frock of Sahara crepe de chine with biscuit coloured trimmings; Mrs. Carl Robson, art blue georgette; Mrs. W. Crow, black silk marocain, relieved with biscuit and blue; Mrs. Wellington, burgundy georgette with draped flared skirt, finished with diamente buckle; Mrs. R. L. Piper, frock of same panne velvet; Mrs. Hart, patterned ninon; Mrs. E. Pearse, an anklelength frock of turquoise blue charmeuse, with overdress of lace; Mrs. C E. Hampton, rose face and satin, with hip bow to tone; Mrs. T. J. Flood, sky blue taffeta with lemon trimmings; Mrs. A. Meredith, pretty frock of mist blue georgette .and taffeta; Mrs. G. V. Payne, wearing a frock of shell pink satin beaute finished with a posy; Miss E. Speed, silver lame and art blue crepe de chine; Miss E. Burnett, lettuce green tinsel and georgette; Miss D Woods, ashes of roses satin and crepe de chine; Miss Philp, frock of orchid pink satin and silk net, finished with diamente trimmings; Miss N.
