PRESENTATIONS AT TAKAPUNA In presenting the Herbert Smith Trust Fund cups to the winners *** Takapuna Primary School yesterdi the Mayor, Mr. J. W. Williamson, sai* that Takapuna should be proud of the wonderful achievement of Savidan at the Empire Games. The Rev. J. Hiddlestone briefly explained the objects of the Herbert Smith Trust Fund, and hoped that the Takapuna schools would continue to be foremost in their athletic recreation. Mention was made of the success the school Rugby football team junior primary grade. North group, whose record for the season »• Played, 6; lost, 0; points for, iwi. against, 0. . The Mayoress presented the tropn to the following winners: —Girls race team: Nora Williams (captain Myrtle Crossley, Una Thompse Maisie Wrigley. Boys' relay team: u. Fenwick, F. Brinsley, R. Barrock.
