WEST END, PONSONBY

Jeanne Eagels in “Jealousy” is the attraction at the West End Theatre. Miss Eagels will be remembered for her particularly fine performance in “The Letter,” which had a successful run in Auckland. In this picture she tries to conceal her past from the poor artist whom she marries. In this she is only partially successful, with the result that her husband kills the man with whom she had been friendly before she married him. To miss “Jealousy” is to miss one of the greatest dramatic treats of the season.

“Troopers Three,” a comedy of life in the United States cavalry, is the second feature.
