Some two years ago, an athlete in America was said to have pitted his strength against two horses. Here is an actual test of a similar character performed recently in Sydney by Don Athaldo. official holder of the world’s strength record. Standing between two light draught horses—one nessed to each arm—this modern Hercules challenged them to pull their hardest. They did. but not one pace could they move him. Athaldo stood the strain for over two minutes, and came out victor.
