CHARLES BANNERMAN DEAD IN AUSTRALIA WAS ON 1878 TOUR SYDNEY, Wednesday. The death occurred today of Mr. Charles Bannerman. a member of the “t*t Australian cricket eleven to visit Bagland in 1878, under the captaincy “Mr. aTe Gregory. Mr. Bannerman collapsed and died 14 a street at Moore Park today. He was a native of Kent. There are now only two survivors in* 1 ® ove rseas eleven, Messrs. • Gwrett and J. Blackham.
