NORTHCOTE EX-SERVICEMEN
ENTERTAINMENT FOR UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF A most enjoyable picture evening-, followed by a dance, was held in the Palais Theatre, Xorthcote, last evening by the recently-formed Xorthcote ex-Service Men’s Association to raise funds for the employment of unemployed ex-service men. During the interval, the president of the association, Mr. J. P. Ryan, briefly outlined its aims and objects. At the conclusion of the picture performance those present were entertained with dancing. Excellent dance music was played by the Merrymakers Orchestra.
