INSPECTED THIS MORNlNG.—Members of the Auckland City Council inspected the beach at Kohimarama this morning to examine how far the proposed new road would encroach upon it. It was decided to construct the road 76 yards farther back on the beach. The pictures show, top: A line of people marking the site of the original proposed route. Lower: Members of the council examining plans of the locality.
