TUAKAU CLUB [■'rout Our Own Correspondent PUKEKOHE, Tuesday. The annual meeting of the Tuakau Lawn Tennis Club was presided over by Mr. P. A. Hillary. The report stated that the membership was 76. New courts had been laid down, the cash outlay being £491. The senior cup had been won by Miss A. Woolley and Mr. A. A. Boyd, and the junior stars by Miss Westland and Mr. R. Ley. The A team was runner-up in the Franklin Association’s competition. The balance sheet showed a credit of £4O 6s 2d. Officers elected were:—Patron. Mr. W. Lee Martin, M.P.; president, AV*. Hillary; vice-presidents, Alessrs. W. Morgan and S. Connelly: secretary, Mr. A. A. Boyd; auditor, Air. G. Arrowsmith: club captain. Mr. A. Leaman; committee. Airs. Addy, Airs. Strahan. Miss X. Pirret. Alesdames A. Leaman, F. Geraghty and C. L. Xaylor: delegates to the Franklin Association, Messrs. Hillary, Boyd and Leaman.
