SHARP EARTHQUAKE

PAEROA LAMPS SWING * From Our Own Correspondent PAEROA, Tuesday. A sharp shock of earthquake was felt at Paeroa at 12.42 p.m. today. 'The shock lasted from eight to ten seconds. The electric lamps in buildings were set swinging and several shopkeepers reported that goods on their shelves were shaken down. No other damage has been reported. SHOCKS AT TAURANGA THREE OCCUR TODAY From Our Own Correspondent TAURANGA, Today. A very sharp earthquake shock was felt at Tauranga at 3.58 a.m. today, followed by two slighter ones. No damage has been reported.
