HUGE SPAN OVER SYDNEY HARBOUR COMPLETED.Thirty thousand tons of steel flung in a huge span across the Sydney Harbour. Such is Sydney’s mammoth bridge, the arc of which was completed yesterday. The pictures show, lower: The arc, apparently complete, seen from the North Shore approach. It completely dwarfs the harbour, which is over a mile wide at this point. Top: The huge creeper cranes laying the last panels before the ends were lowered and linked up.
