RETURN TO EPSOM
JS. SHAW returned yesterday • from Christchurch with the pacer Warplane, who looks well after his successful trip to Addington. The Epsom trainer also brought Laplander North to fulfil his engagements at the Auckland relief meeting. Native Prince has been left at Addington with D. Bennett to undergo a preparation for the New Zealand Cup. Laplander will in future race in the Corrigan livery, his party having acquired the ex-Hawera mare Hostess, who remained in the South.
