DOMINION HORSES RECORD FAST TIMES NIGHTMARCH’S SPRINT United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright SYBNEt, Tuesday. Nightmarcli appeared on the Randwick tracks today, and dashed over half a mile of the course proper in 49£ seconds, the fastest time for that distance. First Sight and Limerick covered six furlongs in 1.17 J. Other New Zealand horses which showed pleasing form were Gay Crest, Arikiwai, Mithra, and Vali. Trainer Jones so far is disappointed with Bunraven, who is to be given another chance to make good, failing which he will be shipped back to New Zealand. Seven more racehorses from the Bominion arrived by the Maunganui. They had a good trip.
