ALLEGED FRAUD

REMAND TILL AUGUST 27 Pleading not guilty to obtaining money by fraud from Otto J. Thedens. Austrian Trade Commissioner, Augustus S. Hodgson was remanded at the Police Court today to appear on August 27. Hodgson, for whom Mr. C. Snedden appeared, was charged with, on August S. with intent to defraud, obtaining £4 12s 6d from Otto J. Thedens by falsely representing that Bagnall Bros., Turua, had placed an order for goods amounting to £25 4s. Bail was renewed in one surety of £IOO.
