MANUKAU AMATEUR CLUB \ The Manukau Amateur Cycling Club held tw T o road races over its course at Mount Roskill on Saturday—a fivemile junior race and a 25-mile senior event. Results were as follow: Junior Race. —S. F. Budge (2min), 14min 56sec, 1; W. Webb (2min), 15min 3sec, 2; J. R. Bowen (4min), 19min 20sec, 3; P. H. Bicknell (4min), 19min 21sec, 4. Fastest time was recorded by H. V. Gordon, scr., in 14min 7sec. Senior Race. —R. X- Baston (9min), 7min 38sec, 1; G. P. Clark (9min), 77min min 38sec, 1; G. P. Clark (9min), 77min 38sec, 2; E. J. Avery (4min), 74min 14sec, 3; R. G. Foubister (scr.), 71min 39sec, 4; E. A. Cleaver (scr.), 72min Bsec, 5. Foubister secured fastest time, his seventh. successive time victory.
