MAJESTIC

“LOOSE ANKLES” In “Loose Ankles,” the First National picture which is now at the Majestic Theatre, that particular studio has provided what can only bo described as a mirthquake. A pair of frumpy old aunts, who supervise the heart affairs of a pretty young thing—that is the story. The girl must marry the man they choose or lose a fortune. With the aid of a trio of gigolos, the girl is helped to marry the man she chooses—and the aunts are afraid to say no. You see, they have been involved—and how! It’s a merry mixture of fun and romance. The venerable and very comical Otis Harlan, Daphne Pollard, and Eugene Nugent, are funmakers also. The Majestic’s programme also includes several talkie featurettes.
