"HIGH SOCIETY BLUES” There is no more charming couple in pictures than the winsome Janet 'iaynor and the handsome and virile '-harles Farrell, and when they are siv*n a proper vehicle, such as “High Society Blues,” now at the, Lyric Theatre, they present a superlative entertainment that wins instant appeal. Both stars again sing, Miss Gaynor in her appealing voice which charms a * no other voice we know of, and Farrell in his crooning baritone. Both >now a distinct advancement, musically, over “Sunny Side Up,” ample proof that this production is great entertainment. “Pointed Heels,” an exciting melo*hama starring William Powell, is the second attraction.
